Dear Colleagues,
We’re saddened to share the news that Dina Williamson, one of our architecture graduate students, died tragically in a car accident over the past weekend. Our hearts are with her family as well as with her friends and colleagues in the School of Design and Construction as they struggle with the tragic loss of a young woman who had such a bright future. Dina was part of our close-knit, supportive community in the School of Design and Construction and the Voiland College, and such a tragedy is felt by all of us.
A candlelight walk in remembrance of Dina will begin at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at the Carpenter Hall courtyard at WSU and proceed to Terrell Mall. Candles and cups will be provided.
We have sent condolences to her family and will let you know any details we learn about a memorial service.
