He specializes in developing therapeutic approaches that leverage the unique properties of the cerebrospinal fluid system to deliver biologics directly to neural tissues. His work focuses on applying engineering methods to better understand this environment, combining automated experimental fluid systems, quantitative medical image analysis, and emerging AI tools to model how therapeutic agents move through complex physiologic pathways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lucas earned his Ph.D. at the University of Idaho and has worked primarily within early-stage biotechnology teams to advance therapeutic platforms from design conception through early-stage clinical trials. He is passionate about translating scientific insight into scalable technologies within highly regulated and technically demanding fields.
