HFEEP is a multi-year academic program open to junior, senior and graduate-level engineering students.  Through HFEEP, students can gain:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The opportunity to experience how innovation moves from idea to sustainable realization;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Business skills that will set them apart in the eyes their future employers;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The tools to pursue their entrepreneurial ideas;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expert mentorship in the creation of their own startup company;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experiences, connections, and growth in entrepreneurship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mastery in advanced AI tools for project management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Working in interdisciplinary teams, students learn to manage uncertainty, design, perfect their presentation skills, work with real fiscal and technical constraints, and develop technologies to solve real problems.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-column padded-top\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading wsu-heading--style-marked wsu-heading--mark-color-crimson wsu-spacing-after--xxmedium\">Ready to Get Started?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are now open for the Fall 2027 Cohort! Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply. Specific commitments that will be asked of you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Completion of the New Venture Planning (ENTRP 485), Launching New Ventures (ENTRP 486), Multidisciplinary Engineering Design I&nbsp;(ENGR 420) and Multidisciplinary Engineering Design II- Program Capstone (ENGR 421) towards receiving an Engineering Entrepreneurship Badge. &nbsp;See <a href=\"https:\/\/vcea.wsu.edu\/entrepreneurship\/courses\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/vcea.wsu.edu\/entrepreneurship\/courses\/\">Courses<\/a> page for further details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optionally,  completion of one of Project Management Foundations (EM 464), Leading People and Organizations (EM 522) or Project Management (EM&nbsp;564) in addition to courses above towards receiving an Engineering Entrepreneurship Certificate. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation in the activities organized by the <a href=\"https:\/\/entrepreneurship.wsu.edu\/\">WSU Center for Entrepreneurship<\/a>, which includes seminars and the <a href=\"https:\/\/entrepreneurship.wsu.edu\/wsu-business-plan-competition\/\">Business Plan Competition<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation in a set of \u201con-campus\u201d activities to include lectures, interviews, and experiences in local businesses and research laboratories organized by The Harold Frank Engineering Entrepreneurship Institute.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-column\"  style=\"width:33%\">\r\n\t\n<div class=\"wsu-callout wsu-color-background--white wsu-border--color-vineyard\" >\r\n    <h3 class=\"wsu-callout__title\">\r\n        Value    <\/h3>    \n\n<p>The Harold Frank Engineering Entrepreneurship Program provides engineering students the opportunity to grow their entrepreneurial skills by walking them through building, testing and launching engineering start-ups.
