Be Safe Cougs

Locked Out?

Please do not prop exterior doors open. If you see a building exterior door propped open, please close it. If something in the building seems wrong, please don’t hesitate to contact the WSU Police at 911 or the non-emergency number at 509-335-1380.

If you are accidentally locked out of your area, you can call the non-emergency number for WSU Safety Services- 509-335-1380. You will need to have ID with you to gain re-entry.

Space Heaters

WSU discourages the use of portable space heaters. As sources of ignition, space heaters can create fire hazards. Space heaters are not as energy efficient as central heating, and the electric cord creates a tripping hazard.
