SEAS Director Announcement

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that Mohamed Osman has accepted the appointment of interim director of the School of Engineering & Applied Sciences (SEAS).

Having been with WSU Tri-Cities since 2008, Professor Osman brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He is a member of several professional societies and organizations, including IEEE, the American Physical Society, and the editorial board of the Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Prior to WSU Tri-Cities, Osman was with WSU Pullman, where he received the School of Electrical Engineering’s Outstanding Research Faculty Award in 2003.

I will be working with WSU Tri-Cities leadership to begin the search for a permanent SEAS director, and would like to thank outgoing interim director Scott Hudson for his exemplary service as interim SEAS director for the past year.

Please join us me in welcoming Mohamed to his new role.

Go Cougs!
