VCEA IT is on Zoom

Need tech support? Find VCEA IT on Zoom. You can always reach out via the normal methods: by creating a ticket; by email at support.vcea@wsu.edu; by phone at 509-335-6773; or by visiting their one-stop-shop website for all things Zoom, Blackboard, Teleworking, etc.

VPN Changes

Please visit the IT website for information on downloading and installing the new and improved VPN client.


Student Support

Student FAQ and Zoom Room

A new frequently asked questions Web page has been developed to help students with their questions about Voiland College’s transition to online delivery. Students can send their questions to vcea.covid19@wsu.edu or join a live Zoom Room for assistance (9 am to 2 pm thru Friday, April 3).

Free Tutoring

Voiland College tutors are available via Zoom.

Voiland College Tutoring Services is available for students using the same schedule as before. Students can search the schedule by subject, class number, day of the week, or tutor. Then, they can enter the tutor’s zoom room during the tutor’s shift by selecting the words “click here” under the tutor’s name.

If they chose, faculty members can add a link to their Blackboard class space(s) to the tutoring schedule for student convenience.

Tutoring Services is also available for workshops, to support faculty for recitations, and other services. Students and faculty members who would like to request support can contact Becky Dueben at rdueben@wsu.edu or 509 336 9417.

Math Learning Center tutoring services are available via Zoom.

Academic Success and Career Center tutoring services are available via Zoom.

Sloan 249 Computer Lab to Close April 3

Due to Governor Inslee’s Stay Home, Stay Healthy order, the computer lab in Sloan 249 will be closed as of 5pm Friday, April 3. If a student needs a computer, the Office of the Provost has a free computer loan program for WSU students. See below for details.

Computer Loan Program

The Office of the Provost is offering a computer loan program for WSU students- interested students may fill out the Computer loan interest form.

Pass/Fail Grade Option

WSU has developed an emergency adjustment to grading deadlines and policies for undergraduate students in the spring 2020 term. Most students will have the option for pass/fail grades in a wider variety of courses. The deadline to request Pass/Fail grading is June 1, 2020.
