Reporting in the journal, Plos Biology, a WSU research team led by Alla Kostyukova has proven for the first time how the mechanism of heart beats work on a molecular scale.

Florence Adesope, Jennifer Espin and Flor Trinidad were named to the 2020-2021 cohort of the Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Scholars Program.

The criteria for the award are as follows: “The recipient of the Award shall be an AFW member whose leadership has advanced the role of women in the Washington State University system and/or who has demonstrated leadership in higher education, the community, or her profession at the local, state, regional, national or international level.”

VCEA Pumpkin Carving Contest

Join VCEA Tutoring Services for a pumpkin carving contest! All students, faculty, and staff from all VCEA campuses are encouraged to put their carving skills to the test to win prizes in different categories plus bragging rights for the entire year. Participants can work alone or can work together (via Zoom or other safe methods). Contestants will enter photos of their creations on which all of Voiland College will vote. Workday Training

Washington State University will soon begin using Workday, the new system for finance, payroll, human resources, and post-award grants management. All WSU employees will use Workday in some capacity, from managing their personal information to tracking their time worked/off. Workday training materials are ready and courses are now open for enrollment.
