WSU Pullman is hosting the Viceroy/CySER Summer Workshop (PDF) May 22 – June 1, which will feature a terrific line-up of cybersecurity speakers and events, including field trips to PNNL, SEL, and Fairchild Air Force Base.
Kristina Borrman, Jia Li, and Pouria Bahmani were one of nine faculty who received a New Faculty Seed Grant this year from the WSU Office of Research.
Omar Al-Hassawi collaborated with the American Institute of Architects Spokane Chapter to deliver continuing education around energy conscious construction, and was a panelist in AIA-Spokane’s Sustainable Futures Conference, where he discussed sustainable issues in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
Voiland College completed drafting its 2023-2028 Strategic Plan.
Facilities Modernization – May Update
Washington State Gov. Jay Inslee signed the 2023–25 capital and operating budgets, allotting millions in funding for WSU programs and initiatives across the state. $40 million in state support will match philanthropic gifts towards Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture’s Schweitzer Engineering Hall.
