Autumn 2023 Update

The leaves around campus have turned to glorious shades of red, orange and yellow and are falling all around us – which can mean only one thing – autumn weather is here!

I want to thank everyone who braved cool, rainy weather and came out to the groundbreaking celebration of Schweitzer Engineering Hall.

New Associate Dean for Systemic Equity and Engagement

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Kacey Beddoes to the position of Assistant Dean for Systemic Equity and Engagement.

Welcome Back / College Update

I hope you all enjoyed our fantastic – albeit dry – summer. I think many of us appreciated this week’s much-needed rain – it certainly hasn’t dampened the spirits of our eager students!

Before fall semester really takes off, I want to provide you with quick update on the status of our college’s continued efforts around strategic planning.

Voiland College 2023-2028 Strategic Plan

It is with great pleasure that I can announce that Voiland College has completed drafting its 2023-2028 Strategic Plan.

As most of you know, Voiland College faculty, staff, and students have been collectively working on this document over the course of the past few years through committee meetings, focus groups, and surveys to solicit ideas and feedback on what goals and objectives our college should focus the most on in the next few years.

Thank You

Happy End of Semester!

The last few weeks leading up to finals were filled with a buzz of activity for everyone, and now that class is out, I’m certain we will all welcome a return to a quieter, steadier pace that will allow us to rejuvenate, refresh, and refocus.

Good Luck on Finals / National Teacher Appreciation Week

As the academic year draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to congratulate all of you on a job well done. This year has been filled with many challenges, but you have all risen to the occasion and shown what it means to be a part of this wonderful Cougar community.
