Bot Brawl, a WSU student robotics competition, was featured in WSU Insider.

Jacob Leachman and students Ian Wells, John Bussey, and Nathaniel Swets developed a liquid nitrogen spray that can remove almost all of the simulated moon dust from a space suit, potentially solving what is a significant challenge for future moon-landing astronauts.

A $500,000 grant from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission will help Washington State University scientists, including John McCloy, study various aspects of safely storing and disposing of next generation nuclear fuels.

Air filter research by Katie Zhong, Shengnan Lin, Ming Luo, and Xuewei Fu could lead to better air purifiers, particularly in regions of the world that suffer from very poor air quality. Zhong was interviewed about the research by KIRO TV.
