Spirit Award"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Spirit Award recognizes <strong>one<\/strong> Civil Service or Administrative Professional (AP) staff whose exceptional service reflects VCEA\u2019s main themes and dedication to the WSU community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VCEA Main Themes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Student Success and Belonging: Providing our undergraduate and graduate students with a transformative experience that enables their pathway to success<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research, Creativity, and Engagement: Further advancing Voiland College\u2019s innovative solutions and impactful research by engaging in strategic collaborative efforts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employee Development, Wellness, and Culture: Successfully recruiting and retaining a talented, diverse workforce that advances our land-grant mission of serving the public good.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Infrastructure: Supporting the Voiland College\u2019s employees, students, and partners with modern, state-of-the-art facilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Award\/Honor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One VCEA staff will receive a certificate and honorarium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nomination Guidelines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The objective of this award is to honor a VCEA staff member who embodies the values and themes of the college and university as a whole, demonstrating enthusiasm, positive attitude, and commitment to providing excellent service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This award is open to all VCEA Civil Service and\/or AP staff, irrespective of campus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous winners of this award may not be nominated during the three years following their last receipt of the award.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Requirements for the nomination package are:<ul><li>One nomination letter (no more than one page in length).<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Up to three letters of recommendation are welcome, but not mandatory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Selection Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrates exceptional service that emulates the College\u2019s values and main themes \u2013 Student Success and Belonging; Research, Creativity, and Engagement; Employee Development, Wellness, and Culture; and Infrastructure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Positively contributes to the image and goals of the college and university as a whole, demonstrates enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and commitment to providing excellent service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deadline<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All nominations should be submitted in Qualtrics&nbsp;<strong>on or before Friday, March 13, 2026, by 5:00 pm (PST)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div
