The first, second and third prize winners will receive $1500, $1000, and $500 respectively towards a VCEA fall 2023 scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The VCEA 3MT competition will be held on Friday, March 10 at 2 pm, and <a href=\"https:\/\/vcea.wsu.edu\/graduatestudy\/three-minute-thesis\/\">nominations are due March 3.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LGBTQ+ Faculty\/Staff Distinguished Achievement Award \u2013 Nominations Due March 5<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The President\u2019s Commission for Gender Identity\/Expression and Sexual Orientation (GIESO) <a href=\"https:\/\/from.wsu.edu\/CUB\/2023\/GPSA\/LGBTQ_supp_award\/fac_staff\/n7964-23993-browser.html\">is accepting nominations<\/a> for an award to celebrate and honor excellence within the LGBTQ+ community at WSU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IDEA Grants \u2013 Apply by March 13<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Washington State University faculty seeking to innovate and to promote issues of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA) in undergraduate teaching and learning can apply between Jan. 15 and March 13, for two grants from the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President. The self-nominated award recognizes instructors for their innovative application of technology to transform teaching and learning in their classroom (face-to-face, asynchronous online, or videoconferencing).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winner will receive $3,000 in faculty development funds, distributed to the award winner\u2019s academic department.
