It is used explicitly for non-academic purposes, such as student government, recreational facilities, and food pantries among many others. You can learn more about it and how funds are distributed, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/studentfees.wsu.edu\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/studentfees.wsu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">here (opens in new tab)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The S&amp;A committee kindly accepted the Frank Innovation Zone&#8217;s (FIZ) proposal and will provide funding for the 2026-2027 school year.
