You and one of your parents are invited to the annual Latino Parent Conference at Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Hosted by the Society of Latinx Engineers and Scientists (SOLES) and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Junior (SHPE Jr.), this unique program is for Spanish-speaking parents of high school students who are interested in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM), and the conference is conducted entirely in Spanish for the parents to better engage!
During the conference your family will experience:
- Hands-on science and engineering workshops
- Financial aid presentation
- WSU campus tour
- Schweitzer Engineering Lab tour
Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner; FREE access to laboratories and Materials.

Registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis. We will only be accepting the first 100 families. Preference will be given to students of good academic standing, GEAR UP, MESA and/or upper-level classmen.

It’s tamale time!
Support the SOLES Latino Parent Conference by purchasing fantastic homemade tamales from the WSU SOLES-SHPE Chapter during their annual Tamale Fundraiser. The tamales are sold by the dozen in flavors of cheese, pork, and chicken.
