Washington State University International Programs offers many great opportunities for WSU students to gain global experiences from the comfort of their own homes. Virtual program options provide students with opportunities to engage globally and continue to progress toward their goals without requiring travel – perfect for life during a pandemic! 

Global Leadership Certificate 

The Office of International Programs offers a Global Leadership Certificate in partnership with the Office of Undergraduate Education. This program helps enhance your marketability in an increasingly international job market, as well as shows you can analyze, adapt, communicate, empathize, and solve problems in a variety of ways. Learn more about the requirements and certificate features & benefits. 

Virtual Study Abroad 

Through AIFS: Global Courses Online you can take online courses from universities abroad  you can mix and match courses from different universities with WSU courses to create a unique, global learning experience.   

API: Global Select is another great option, as it allows you to take courses online that are taught by international instructors from universities abroad. You can choose from one of the predesigned course tracks or customize your own by picking different courses from different universities.

Virtual Internships Abroad 

Interested in getting internship work experience abroad? WSU International Programs has a variety of different internship and study abroad experiences that can be completed from your dorm room, apartment, or home! Virtual internships allow you to gain global professional experience, potentially earn academic credit for participating, and are a great way to set yourself apart from other students and post-graduation job applicants.
