Think of who you can connect with and how you can help them and help yourself in the process. Alumni groups can provide key opportunities to help you develop necessary skills.  Think carefully of the specific groups or individuals you are interested in reaching out to that could assist in providing some insight. 

2. Score Up Your Skills

Acquiring complimentary skills will make you more effective and valuable in your career. It is important to learn and develop new skills that will make you an asset to the company or workplace environment.  Be aware about the skills you currently have and how you can add more skills to compliment those.  

3. Assess Your Options

Understand the foundational skills and experience you will need to get hired.  Being in college gives you a better understanding of what career you are more interested in pursuing.  Take the time to explore your options and assess them to help you develop your character for when you get hired for a job.
