Lizz Hampton is the Director of Operations at RapidMade, an advanced manufacturing and product development company specializing in rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, thermoforming, CNC machining, and engineering solutions. She leads cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations, helping drive significant company growth while leading operational excellence and the implementation of the organization’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System.”

Lizz began her career at RapidMade as a production finisher and progressed to Director of Operations, gaining hands-on experience across manufacturing, engineering, quality, and business operations. She is also a former entrepreneur who founded and operated her own company, patented a product, and won several business pitch competitions, including Pitchfest NW.

A graduate of the University of Oregon, Lizz holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Product Design and Fine Art with a minor in Business. After completing the program, she continued working with the University of Oregon’s Product Design program as a Teaching Assistant for four years, mentoring students developing products for individuals with disabilities and Paralympic athletes while working alongside some of Nike’s earliest and most influential designers.

Passionate about leadership, innovation, and continuous improvement, Lizz credits much of her success to the mentors who invested in her throughout her career. She is committed to paying that support forward by helping students and emerging professionals build confidence, develop practical skills, and navigate successful careers in engineering, manufacturing, and business.
