Service and Activities (S&A) Funding

The Service and Activities Fee (S&A) is a mandatory, non-tuition charge for all Washington State students. It is used explicitly for non-academic purposes, such as student government, recreational facilities, and food pantries among many others. You can learn more about it and how funds are distributed, here (opens in new tab).

The S&A committee kindly accepted the Frank Innovation Zone’s (FIZ) proposal and will provide funding for the 2026-2027 school year. This will enable us at the FIZ to better serve students and any interests outside of their classes and schooling.

This page will be used to catalog expenses by the FIZ using S&A funds, to allow students to see where part of their tuition goes.
