What made you decide to attend WSU?

I decided to go to WSU because of the community. There is truly something so special about the campus and the people that make it an amazing place to receive an education. I chose my major because I love the construction industry and being able to build amazing projects that make an impact in my community.

How have scholarships or financial aid impacted you as a student?

Scholarships have had a huge impact on my education. This support has allowed me to focus on my classes and make the most out of my education. Knowing people in the industry, my community, and school are investing in my future make me that much more grateful for my education.

What advice do you have for fellow or prospective students?

The best advice I could give to prospective students is to get involved. There are so many opportunities on campus to explore everything WSU has to offer. Being a part of clubs on campus has opened the door for me in so many ways. I have been able to make connections within the construction management program and in the construction industry. Don’t be afraid to reach out your professors or other students to find new opportunities.

What do you want to do with your degree after you graduate?

With my degree, I plan to start as a project engineer and work my way up to a project manager working in commercial construction.
