The Voiland College invites you to assist us in providing our students with the remote learning experience they need to be successful this year and beyond, making significant contributions to our society and economy.
Voiland Peer Network peer mentor program
– Our goal is to form 350 peer mentor relationships between upper class engineering/computer science students and first-year/transfer students in the Voiland College. Your gift will help us provide the necessary resources for a strong peer mentoring program.
Scholarships – Many of our students are struggling financially, and we have exhausted our scholarship dollars for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Teaching Assistants – Faculty in all of our disciplines have requested funding to hire more teaching assistants. This will allow us to dramatically increase our personal interactions with undergraduate students.
Job Placement – Our seniors are entering a challenging job market, and need help to share their talents with all potential employers. We would like to purchase a popular software platform where our students can seamlessly and professionally post their portfolios.
Fabricating Project Prototypes – We continue to serve students and clubs to make their designs and ideas a reality in our makerspace, the Frank Innovation Zone (FIZ). Additional funds will dramatically increase FIZ employee hours to assist and partner with students to create project prototypes.
