The Voiland College invites you to assist us in providing our students with the remote learning experience they need to be successful this year and beyond, making significant contributions to our society and economy.
– Many of our students are struggling financially, and we have exhausted our scholarship dollars for the 2020-2021 academic year.
Teaching Assistants – Faculty in all of our disciplines have requested funding to hire more teaching assistants. This will allow us to dramatically increase our personal interactions with undergraduate students in this remote environment.
Community Building – We have run out of Voiland College T-shirts. They are essential for building community, rewarding students, and helping us to recruit new students.
Job Placement – Our seniors are entering a challenging job market, and need help to share their talents with all potential employers. We would like to purchase a popular software platform where our students can seamlessly and professionally post their portfolios.
Fabricating Project Prototypes – We are still serving students and clubs to make their designs and ideas a reality in our makerspace, the Frank Innovation Zone (FIZ). Students remotely act as project managers for their designs. We require additional funds to dramatically increase FIZ employee hours to partner with students to create project prototypes.
