What made you decide to attend WSU?
I chose WSU for the great community and proximity to home. The Pullman community is one of the best in the country for college campus communities. They are welcoming and show great hospitality. I chose to study mechanical engineering because I love to solve challenging problems and work with my
hands.
Why would you recommend attending Washington State University?
Washington State University is a school worth attending because of the vast opportunity that students get. WSU has one of the best alumni networks which makes it very possible to find work after school. On campus there are also many campus clubs and events that you can get involved in and find community in.
What advice do you have for fellow or prospective students?
The number one thing I can recommend is to not be afraid to reach out and seek help. Whether it is for classes or personal reasons, people here want to see you succeed. There are many resources available to your disposal here that are generally free to students.
What has been your favorite class or program that you have been involved with at WSU?
My favorite thing that I have done at WSU is being a TA. I got to meet many people that I see on a daily basis now and am good friends with.
What do you want to do with your degree after you graduate?
My plan after graduation is to work in the power generation industry.
