As we take time to give thanks at this time of year, I want to express my gratitude for many successes and a great year in the Voiland College. We are thankful for our hardworking students, faculty, and staff and for the strong support of our alumni and donors.

A quintessential Cougar engineer, Roy E. Matthews III (EE ‘76, ‘86) was a hands-on engineer, tinkerer, and determined problem-solver who cherished his time at WSU.

Spring is upon us. The weather is improving, finals are here, and our students are joyfully and proudly taking photos around campus in their graduation regalia.

Washington State University will name the welcome center at the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture’s Schweitzer Engineering Hall the Diane Coughlin Welcome Center.

WSU researchers studied how seniors live in their facilities, including interactions with their buildings and technology, their peers, and their community.
