A proud Washington State University alumnus and lifelong Coug, Matt Snook brings over 10 years of enthusiasm serving the Civil and Environmental Engineering Advisory Board. Through his involvement with the university, Matt provides an industry-informed perspective on the evolving needs of engineering education, advocating for initiatives that strengthen student preparation and industry relations.

As a Structural Principal at Coughlin Porter Lundeen, he leads the firm’s work with WSU and bridges the connection between the university and the engineering profession by supporting opportunities that bolster WSU’s long-term success. Matt leverages his creative thinking to lead some of the most complex projects in Coughlin Porter Lundeen’s portfolio. His energetic and collaborative management style pairs with higher education, industrial, healthcare, and life science projects that push the boundaries of optimization, integration, and fast-track processes. Bringing contagious energy to each engagement, Matt contributes to multiple arenas as technical mentor, business developer, and organizational leader.
