Are You a Transfer Student?
You are considered a transfer student for admission purposes if you have attended college after the summer following your high school graduation. This definition helps us understand your academic journey and facilitate your transition to WSU.
Make Your Transfer Smooth
To ensure that your previous coursework aligns with your desired engineering or computer science degree program at WSU, we strongly recommend reaching out to the transfer coordinator.
Our transfer coordinator services include:
- 1:1 Appointments: Discuss your specific academic path and transferable credits with the transfer coordinator.
- On-Campus Tours: Tours are offered Monday – Saturday at noon. Register for a tour.
- New Coug Orientation: New Coug Orientation supports you in your transition to the Cougar Family. Orientation will prepare you for your social and academic acclimation, as well as your move to Pullman.
- Monthly Prospective Student Presentations: Join us for informative sessions where you can learn about the transfer process and what WSU has to offer. Register for a presentation.
- Transfer Fairs: Attend our transfer fairs to connect with advisors and learn about various programs and services available to transfer students.
- Classroom Presentations: We offer presentations in community college classrooms to share valuable information on transferring to WSU. Please contact the transfer coordinator to schedule a planning meeting.
- Community College Campus Engagement: Our coordinators frequently visit community college campuses to meet with students directly and assist with transfer inquiries.
