Joe Rutte spent nearly three decades in the semiconductor industry, most of that time with Micron Technology. He started as a failure analysis engineer at Micron and spent his first ten years at the company’s manufacturing site in Boise, Idaho. He transferred to Micron’s fab in Virginia where he spent eleven years, working in several roles in engineering, program management, cost reduction, and strategic planning. He returned to Boise in 2016 to take on a corporate position, doing M&A and global operations strategy. Since 2022, Joe has been a stay-at-home dad, an investor, a consultant, and an advisor to a start-up company.

Outside of work, Joe is a husband and father of two boys. He enjoys reading, investing, writing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
