Three Washington State University researchers have received young faculty awards from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Defense Advanced Research Program Agency (DARPA).

Jean-Sabin McEwen and Steven R. Saunders, assistant professors in the Gene and Linda Voiland School of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering, and Dae Hyun Kim, assistant professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, each received approximately $500,000.
