WSU’s School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is integrating AI throughout its curriculum and assuming a leadership role in its academic use.

Welcome back to the start of another school year! Classes have gotten underway, and our hallways are buzzing with activity. We were excited to recently welcome everyone back to campus with our annual ice cream social and town hall meeting. 

Two students are the recipients of WSU Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture’s first Distinguished Dean’s Scholarship. Made possible with donor support, the prestigious scholarship provides full tuition to the recipients and are renewable for up to four years.

WSU School of Design and Construction students proved once again that nature can be one of the best teachers.

This year, students in architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture were tasked with designing and creating permeable wall structures inspired by nature as a part of the school’s foundational studio class. 

In a rapidly changing world, our Voiland College faculty, staff, and students are tackling our biggest challenges and solving real-world problems.

Glen L. Hower, a longtime member of the WSU electrical engineering faculty who passed away in January, will be honored with the naming of Glen Hower Hall in the new Schweitzer Engineering Hall.

Voiland College students enjoyed numerous successes through clubs, research experiences, and internships.
