Meet Brenno Aguiar Bonfim Cruz, the new MME Peer Menor in the VCEA Internships & Career Services office!
Brenno is a Mechanical Engineering student at WSU, who recently completed the ProPEL Internship Program through an internship with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories in Pullman, WA. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at SEL, Brenno’s favorite part was knowing the impact of his work. Breeno says “Supplying safe, reliable, and economic power is directly connected to the dignity of life. Being part of such a great mission has given me a sense of self-realization that is indescribable”.
Brenno’s favorite parts about WSU are the diversity, as well as the buildings’ appearance; he said he’d never seen anything like that in Brazil. His favorite restaurant in Pullman in the Mandarin House.
FUN FACT: Each of Brenno’s last names come from a different side of his family. Aguiar is from his dad’s side, Bonfim is from his mom’s side, and Cruz is from his grandparents!
