1. Understand and Admit Your Weaknesses

Understand what needs to be developed in yourself as a college student, both on a personal and professional level.  Self-reflection is very crucial in everyone’s lives.

2. Research, Read, Be Aware

Think back on all the people you have met along the way in your life and try to understand the skills and characteristics of each individual that made you feel drawn to them.

3. Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

Take a leap of faith and stray away from what is comfortable to you through practice and various experiences.

4. Diversify Your Experiences

Be more involved on campus and within your community, as this will give you a better idea of what your true passions are.

5. Stop Waiting for Things to Happen and Make Them Happen!

Take charge and make things happen for yourself by getting out there and being proactive!
