Take advantage of college-sponsored peer tutoring. Peer tutoring is a great resource for freshmen, especially, helping them get through their challenging first year of classes. All engineering, computer science, and construction management disciplines are represented, so you can get specific help.

The Voiland College tutoring center offers undergraduates:

  • Free tutoring geared toward coursework in the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture.
  • Assistance in most disciplines.
  • Computers and study space in Dana 136.
  • Free coffee, lockers, and a microwave.
  • A work study program for tutors.

Tutoring Schedule

Tutoring is provided during the school week; please check the schedule below for details. Tutoring is not offered during University holidays or weekends.

Tutoring schedule will be updated periodically; please check back for updated schedules.

Note: all tutors can assist with MATH 171, 172, and 273; and PHYSICS 201 and 202.

Bioengineering
Peter: Monday and Wednesday 2 pm – 5 pm and Friday 12:00 pm – 3 :00 pm

Chemical Engineering
Gent: Tuesday and Wednesday 2 pm – 5 pm

Civil Engineering
Asa: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10 am – 12 pm
Maddy: Tuesday and Thursday 9 am – 12 pm
Neil: Tuesday and Thursday 12 pm – 3 pm

Computer Engineering
Collin: Tuesday and Thursday 9 am to 11 am

Computer Science
Jovan: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9 am – 2 pm
Kyle: Tuesday and Thursday 11 am – 2 pm

Construction Management
Shawn: Friday 10:30 am – 2:30 pm

Electrical Engineering
Cole: Monday and Wednesday 11 am – 5 pm
