I’m pleased to share two exciting updates within the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture team:
VCEA is delighted to announce that Fernanda Amaral has accepted the role of Development Operations Manager for the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture. Fernanda has been an integral member of our team since 2017, serving as Executive Assistant to Dean Pande.
In her new role, she will support the college’s development operations and play a key role in stewarding donors and advancing engagement efforts that strengthen relationships between WSU and its alumni, friends, and industry partners.

We are also excited to welcome Cassie Chatelain as the new Assistant to the Dean. Cassie brings over 10 years of experience in executive support, project coordination, and event management, most recently at Stanford University’s School of Medicine. She is known for her proactive approach, strong organizational skills, and ability to foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Cassie has a proven track record in managing complex calendars, coordinating high-level events, and streamlining operations—all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
