Clara Ehinger and Brayan Osegueda Velazquez received Barry Goldwater scholarships.

Rebecca Gustine received the Harriett B. Rigas Award for Outstanding Doctoral Student from the Association for Faculty Women.

Led by Mani Venkatasubramanian, a research team has been selected to receive a $2.4 million U.S. Department of Energy grant to better prepare the power grid for the changing world of electricity production, including the increasing use of renewable power and the increase in extreme weather events related to climate change.

The Daily Evergreen featured a story on Kids’ Science and Engineering Day.

WSU Insider highlighted WSU’s engineering involvement at the Expo ’74.

Pullman Classroom Support Moves April 16

Effective April 16, Pullman General University Classroom (GUC) support is transitioning to Information Technology Services (ITS) under a new department name: Pullman Integrated Academic Technologies (PIAT).

Pullman faculty and staff are encouraged to continue using the 509-335-5044 phone number for immediate classroom support. Requests for classroom support can also be directed to the new PIAT service desk email: piat@wsu.edu.

The Green 3 section of the parking lot located along NE College Avenue and south of Daggy Hall on the Pullman campus is scheduled to be closed permanently, beginning in early May 2024. Learn more.
