Voiland College recognized outstanding students at its annual convocation ceremony on April 11. The event was sponsored by the Boeing Company. Honored award winners included:

  • Outstanding Sophomore: Rylee Gannon
  • Outstanding Junior: Ethan Villalovoz
  • Outstanding Senior: Katy Ayers
  • Outstanding Teaching Assistant for grading/office hours: Kutay Sesli
  • Outstanding Teaching Assistant — Teaching/Instruction: Chris Pereyda
  • Outstanding Research Assistant: Ali Mahmoodigahrouei
  • Outstanding Dissertation: Lin Shao

Hongtao Dang, Vishnupriya Jonnalagadda, Chloe Kemmerling, William McGaughey, and Joan Njenga were among this year’s Pullman Chancellor’s Award recipients.

Noel Schulz was recently profiled in an article in IEEE Women in Engineering Magazine.

The Daily Evergreen profiled a story on mechanical engineering senior Yaneth Valencia.

Construction Alert

***Green 3 Parking Lot Closure, May 6***

The Green 3 section of the parking lot located along NE College Avenue and south of Daggy Hall is scheduled to be closed permanently, Monday, May 6. The hourly parking (Labeled – Columbia Street Lot Top Bays – in the AMP Park app and at aimsmobilepay.com) section of this lot will remain open during construction. Learn more.

***Bus Stop Alert***

The Pullman Transit bus stop at the corner of Spokane and College will be discontinued as of May 6. The stops on Spokane Street south and north of College Avenue will continue to be in service.
