Dec. 3 & 5: WSU VP of Research Finalist Interviews
We are pleased to announce that two finalists for the Vice President for Research search are scheduled for finalist interviews during the week of December 2. WSU faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to attend each finalist’s presentation which will outline their vision for the Office of Research. The presentations will originate from the WSU Pullman campus and be available system-wide via Zoom. Time will also be reserved for question-and-answer following the presentation. WSU Graduate Women in STEM Mentoring Program – Sign Up by Dec. 20
The Graduate Society of Women Engineers (GradSWE), in collaboration with the Society for Women in Chemistry & the WSU Crop and Soil Science Graduate Student Association, are pleased to invite graduate women and gender minorities in STEM to join the Graduate Women in STEM Mentoring Program (GWSMP).
This pilot program is targeted at graduate women and gender minorities in STEM disciplines across WSU. Participants will commit to monthly virtual or in-person meetings with a pod of 3–4 peers, take part in pod activities, and provide occasional feedback through surveys. We anticipate a maximum time commitment of 5 hours per month from participants, spanning January-July.
Interested? Students can fill out this intake form by Tuesday, December 20 to be matched with a pod for the Spring 2025 semester.

Undergrad Researcher Awards – Apply by Jan. 31
Washington State University undergraduate students can apply online now through Jan. 31 for any of eight awards to support their mentored research, scholarship, and creative activities in academic year 2024–25.
