Jacob Leachman has received a $1.8 million grant from the U.S. Army to demonstrate a liquid hydrogen-powered UAV and refueling system.

Matt Engels, a Ph.D. student who has been working with Professor Scott Hudson, is lead author of a paper on the research that improves the software used to track thousands of near-Earth asteroids and comets in the July issue of Astronomy and Computing.

Safety Training Thank You

Earlier this year, Voiland College began requiring mandatory online safety trainings for the first time. I’d like to express my appreciation to the many faculty and staff who have taken these important courses. I believe we all benefit from an improved safety culture in the college and that these programs every day are making our laboratories and classrooms safer for our students and colleagues. Thank you!
