Dear Voiland College Students, Staff & Faculty:
I hope you enjoyed your summer and are excited about the new school year as I am. I predict that this semester will bring many great opportunities for learning, growth, and achievement for all of us.
A great tradition to kick-off the year is the annual Voiland College Ice Cream Social, which, along with FREE Ferdinand’s Ice Cream and a variety of delicious toppings, provides everyone with an opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet professors, discover opportunities to get involved in our many student clubs and programs, and make new friends.
I hope you can join us at this year’s Ice Cream Social tomorrow, Thursday, August 22, from 2 pm to 4 pm at a new location- on the Thompson Lawn in front of Carpenter Hall and across the bridge from Sloan Hall – along Spokane Street. See you there!
