President’s Employee Excellence Awards – Nominations Due Nov. 22

The award is presented annually to recognize outstanding contributions by WSU administrative professional and classified employees. Award recipients each receive $2,500 and will be recognized at the annual Showcase event to be held in March. Nomination form.

U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory Summer Faculty Fellowship Program – Apply by Nov. 29

The Air Force Office of Scientific Research is pleased to announce that the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory Summer Faculty Fellowship Program is currently accepting applications for FY2020 until 29 November 2019 from qualified faculty members interested in conducting research at Air Force (AF) Research Labs/Centers. Visit their website to review FY2020 Research Program Opportunities and start coordinating with an Air Force Advisor in preparation for your application.

2020 New Faculty Seed Grant Program – Apply by Dec. 6

The Office of Research is pleased to announce that the application process for the 2020 New Faculty Seed Grant Program is now open. The primary goal of this program is to support junior level faculty in developing research, scholarly, or creative programs that have a strong potential to lead to sustained projects while enhancing opportunities for extramural funding for these projects. Researchers, scholars and artists who have been appointed to a junior level faculty position no earlier than May 16, 2016 are encouraged to apply by Dec. 6.

PNNL-WSU Graduate Program – Apply by Jan. 10

The WSU Office of Research, the WSU Graduate School, and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory are pleased to announce the call for applications for the fourth cohort of the Distinguished Graduate Research Program.

Idaho National Laboratory Graduate Fellowship – Apply by Feb. 16

Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is excited to announce that the INL Graduate Fellowship postings are now open. One is a fellowship awarded to Ph.D. students with interest in advancing nuclear energy and clean energy deployment. The other is specific to National and Homeland Security research and is for Ph.D. students or students pursuing a master’s degree in cyber security.

Applicants are invited to apply at through inl.gov/careers job posting numbers 13894 and 13895. The postings will close Feb. 16, 2020. Letters of recommendation can be emailed directly to emilee.kottcamp-allen@inl.gov.
