2020 Abstracts for Academic Showcase and GPSA Research Exposition

Abstracts submitted by faculty, staff, and graduate/professional students for the 2020 Showcase poster sessions are now viewable online.

WSU Research Commercialization Gap Fund Letter of Intent due July 24

The application process is now open for the FY2021 Commercialization Gap Fund (GCF). The CGF awards researchers up to $40,000, with a maximum of $2,000 allocated towards business development activities, to those that demonstrate that their innovation(s) have the ability to make an economic impact in our society.

Be Safe Cougs

Campus Connect June 18

This two-hour suicide prevention training program is offered free of charge for all WSU staff and students.

Preregistration is required and capacity is limited.

Daily Coug Connect at 10 a.m.

Experts system-wide present 5-30 minute Zoom sessions for WSU employees.

HRS Return to Work Guide Now Available

Human Resource Services has published a Return to Work guide to aid departments as they begin planning for the eventual return of faculty and staff to their physical workplaces.

Staged Return to On-site Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activities Guide Available

WSU announced the guidance has now been officially issued for a staged return to on‑site research, scholarship, and creative activities.

Pullman Facilities Services Releases Guide to Returning to Physical Work Locations

Facilities Services on the Pullman campus is taking steps to ensure the safe return of custodial, maintenance/construction, waste management, and plant services to normal staffing levels by June 8.

COVID-19 Safety Training

WSU recently provided two COVID-19 related trainings for personnel working on-campus. “Pandemics: Slowing the Spread,” and “Disinfecting the Workplace for COVID-19” are now available through HRS’ Learning and Organizational Development website. These trainings will help prepare us to get back into classroom, laboratory and workplace.Health and Wellbeing Resources
