Diane Cook has been inducted into the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering College of Fellows.

Washington State University researchers led by Roland Chen have been awarded a $3.7 million Department of Defense grant to develop a unique microneedle system to treat common eye diseases.

Students in Emily Larsen and Ananth Jillepalli’s classes are developing an adjustable walker and app for Whitman Hospital.

Mona Ghandi, Adam Phillips, Tommy Tafazzoli, and Di Wu have been granted tenure and promoted to the rank of Associate Professor.

Paul Bonamy and Bolong Zeng were promoted to the rank of Career-Track Associate Professor (Scholarly).

David Thiessen was promoted to the rank of Career-Track Professor (Scholarly).

Wenji Dong, Phil Gruen, Hongfei Lin, Changki Mo, and Feng Zhao were promoted to the rank of Professor.

WESKA Entrepreneurship – Register by April 30

WESKA is an immersive, weeklong accelerator boot camp June 12 – 16 that is open to WSU postdoctoral, doctoral and master’s students from any discipline or WSU location who want to learn more about entrepreneurship.

GPSA Dissertation Grant – Apply Today

The Awards and Scholarships Committee offers dissertation grants to support the research needs of WSU Ph.D. students. These grants will be awarded on a rolling basis to help cover expenses generated as students work to complete their dissertation projects.
