WSU Compliance Training

For WSU to operate in compliance with state and federal laws and protect itself and the WSU community from unnecessary harm, it is critical for employees to understand their responsibilities. Required trainings are designed to educate you on your role in maintaining a compliant workplace.

Visit the HRS website for information about Required Trainings: Employee Rights & Responsibilities Under Executive Policy #15, Ethics in Public Service, Hazing Prevention, Cyber Security Awareness, and Safety Training. Employees may have additional trainings required for their specific roles. Supervisors should ensure their staff have completed all required trainings.

Employees can view their required assignments in Percipio, by going to the homepage or selecting the “My Profile” circle in the top right corner and selecting “Assignments” from the dropdown menu. For questions about accessing Percipio or identifying your learning administrators, contact HRS Training.

Micro-Internships

Voiland College Career Services is excited to announce a new opportunity for our students to take part in short-term, professional, paid work experiences through Micro-Internships. These project-centered experiences are perfect for students with hectic or irregular schedules – most can be completed remotely, typically involve 10 to 40 hours of work, and are deadline-driven as opposed to set during specific hours. Encourage your students to set up their profile through the VCEA Parker Dewey site and start applying today!

Do You Know Percipio?

In addition to any required trainings, employees have up to 96 hours of paid time for elective trainings, and HRS Percipio offers hundreds of easy-to use training courses online! From learning Excel to excelling in leadership, check out all the courses available to you on the WSU HRS website.
