Sept. 22, 2020 Voiland College This Week

Reporting in the journal, Acta Biomaterialia, graduate student Naboneeta Sarkar and professor Susmita Bose showed that the slow release of soy-based chemical compounds from a 3D-printed bone-like scaffold resulted in a reduction in bone cancer cells while building up healthy cells and reducing harmful inflammation.

Phil Gruen created a virtual walking tour that explores the architectural features of the WSU Pullman campus.

A Washington State University research team for the first time has successfully demonstrated the use of liquid hydrogen and a unique refueling system for powering unmanned aerial vehicles.

Arda Gozen, Amanda Hohner, and John Swenson were profiled in the WSU Insider on how they are using funds from the Provost’s Office to support hands-on remote learning.

As we enter the Labor Day Weekend, I want to congratulate everyone for completing our first two weeks of a very unusual fall semester.
