Voiland College gives you FREE Ferdinand’s Ice Cream and the VCEA Clubs provide the toppings from their informational tables. Come enjoy Ferdinand’s ice cream while you explore our unique clubs, Voiland College Student Success resources, and mingle with VCEA students, faculty, and staff!

Volunteers Needed
We’re looking for volunteers to help with our two annual events – August 19 WoW Academic Kick-Off & August 26 VCEA Ice Cream Social. Both of these events will be held out in Thompson Flats and we have PLENTY of opportunities for you to welcome our new & returning students to campus. August Faculty Trainings on Canvas, Panopto, VoiceThread, Perusall
This fall semester, WSU is switching from Blackboard to Canvas. Academic Outreach and Innovation (AOI) is ready to support instructors with a variety of trainings available in August to help faculty get acquainted with Canvas.
Register for AOI trainings now! In addition to the trainings, Instructional Designers are available for on-demand support via Zoom on Mondays through Thursdays from 9-3, and will begin staffing the on-demand room on Fridays again on August 6. Learn more on our on-demand support page.
You can also review additional resources and guides for transitioning content from Blackboard and getting started in Canvas. These periodic communications provide timely and helpful information. Check them often.
