Partha Pande has been appointed as Director of the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, effective March 1, 2018.

Nella Ludlow has been appointed as the new director of WSU’s interdisciplinary data analytics undergraduate degree program.

WSU recently signed agreements with Austria’s Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) and Germany’s Leibniz University (LUH) in Hannover to pursue the establishment of transatlantic collaborations on research programs and student exchanges.

The Black Shed project, led by professor Taiji Miyasaka, recently received a prestigious design-build award from the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA).

Ph.D. students Yang Song and Shaofang Fu received the 2018 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad, sponsored by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

Ryan Durkoop, Megan Stanavitch, Alex Reeves and Matthew Miller– Four mechanical engineering students from WSU Everett, represented WSU at Undergraduate Research Day in Olympia.
