Schweitzer Lecture Scholarship April 10

Voiland College students that attend Tuesday’s “Fostering Free Enterprise, Inventing the Future” lecture with SEL’s Edmund O. Schweitzer will be entered into a drawing to win one of ten $100 scholarships. The two VCEA clubs with the most attendance will receive $450 and $350. The lecture is today from 2-3 PM, CUB Senior Ballroom, Free admission.

VCEA Convocation April 12

Who will be named among Voiland College’s most outstanding students, staff, teachers, and researchers? Find out at Voiland College Convocation, Thursday, April 12, 3:30 PM at Jones Theatre in Daggy Hall. Refreshments will be served.

You be the Judge: Imagine Tomorrow

Imagine Tomorrow is looking for judges! Students participating in Alaska Airlines Imagine Tomorrow on May 19 are taking steps to create a sustainable future. As a judge, your interaction with these forward-thinking students can inspire them to continue striving for a sustainable future after the competition is over. Registration deadline: April 30.

Seth McPherson took first place and Jonathan Moore took third place at ASME Paper Night.

Omar Al-Hassawi and Ayad Rahmani recently led a group of 16 students on an international study tour to Jordan, as part of the Global Engagement in Design and Construction Course.

Negar Behesti Pour won WSU’s Graduate & Professional Student Association’s (GPSA) Outstanding RA Award and Haneen Abusharkh was awarded 2nd place in the GPSA poster competition. Noel Schulz received he GPSA Advisor Award. Winners will be honored during the 2018 GPSA Excellence Award Luncheon April 18.
