Prashanta Dutta is the lead principal investigator on NRT-Lead, a multidisciplinary WSU project funded by the National Science Foundation which will develop a new generation of engineers who will learn how to build better robots and make them work better with, and for, humans.

In the recent Voiland College Faculty Senate Representative elections, Jin Liu was elected as the VCEA Tenure Track representative Seat C, and Sakire Arslan Ay was elected as the VCEA Career Track representative, Seat G. Their terms begin on August 16, 2023 and end on August 15, 2026

A research paper co-authored by Yong Wang showed that a single-atom catalyst was able to remove methane from engine exhaust at lower temperatures, creating the potential to lower exhaust emissions of methane, one of the worst greenhouse gases.
